As part of Three UK’s ongoing support for our charity partner Samaritans, the Technology Commercial & Governance Team are embarking on a Reading to Glasgow 24hr Virtual Challenge next month during Mental Health Awareness Week.

Like so many people do, the C&G team place a high value on mental wellbeing, which is why they have chosen to take on this challenge. Their focus is to work as one team and help the Samaritans to connect 1 million people to emotional support.

How are they going to do this?

The aim is to run, walk, cycle, and row over a continuous 24 hour period to cover the 405 miles (virtually) between the Three Reading office and Three Glasgow office – phew!

Exercise equipment, kindly loaned to us by Nuffield Health, will be located on the ground floor of our Reading office (the Social Quarter) from 12:30pm May 17th all the way (that’s right, from sunset to sunrise!) through to 12:30pm May 18th. During this time the C&G team will be ‘sweatin’ it out’ to smash their goal, and they would love your support!
