Two for Two - The RBFD Family Keepy Uppy Challenge

Keepy Uppy Challenge for Sands · 1 February 2024 to 29 February 2024 ·
We are honoured to have been asked by one of our Maidstone families, to organise this event, raising awareness and money for Sands charity, in honour of the dearly loved, and missed young children who never had the opportunity to become young ballers, or ballerinas, readers, or skaters; those who never had the opportunity to sing, and dance and smile, and to hold others dearly, smile dearly, love dearly. These children were too good for the world they came into, but that does not stop the heartache and pain, and the deep void that can never be filled, that is left upon their parting.
We find that the children are always the best at capturing our hearts and getting to the point of things, so please read a message below from one of our RB ballers Gio:
"Hello everyone!
Thank you visiting our page. RB development are completing a 2000 keepy uppy challenge raising money for an important charity close to ours hearts named Sands.
In 2018, my little brother Rafael died and we are raising money to the charity that helped my family at this difficult time. Sands is a fantastic charity that research stillbirths and provide support for family’s that have had a loss.
I love football and when I saw this challenge I thought it would be a great fun way of raising money. Even better, coming together with my football club to help raise as much money as possible.
On 24th February 2024 (what would have been Rafaels 6ths birthday) we will be completing our challenge altogether with the help of our fantastic and supportive coach Rod. We would be really thankful and grateful if you could sponsor us and help support our charity.
Gio"
On Saturday, February the 24th 2024, the RBFD family and the YMCA will be coming together to hold a 2hr 2000-keepie-uppie challenge with our young footballers in the Maidstone community. We will be on Pitch 1 at the YMCA Maidstone, between 2.15pm and 4.15pm, and we welcome all our donors and the local community to attend with their pennies, mobiles and smiling faces, come rain or shine, to support the young cause and the young ballers who will be trying to reach their keepie yuppie goal reach their goal.
We thank you for taking the time to read this, and for anything you are able to give towards this cause that we know will be so dear to every family's heart.
