For those who know me well, my son has congenital heart disease and is under the care of Birmingham and Coventry hospital. Witnessing his journey has deepened my understanding of the importance of support and care in times of need. I have been donating blood for some time, recognising how crucial it is after seeing the care he has received.

Having participated in a forward abseil a few years ago, I am thrilled to take on this challenge again.
