Help Support My 300-Mile Charity Walk for Mental Health
Dear Friends,
This December, I will be walking nearly 300 miles from London King’s Cross to Whitley Bay to raise awareness and funds for Mind, the mental health charity. Over the course of 10 days, starting on December 19th, I will be braving the winter cold, giving up Christmas with my family, and pushing myself to complete this journey for a cause that’s very close to my heart.
Mental health issues don’t take a break, especially during the holidays. This time of year can be particularly tough for many people, and my hope is that through this walk, I can show those who are struggling that they are not alone. Every step I take is in solidarity with those who are battling mental health problems, and I want to remind them that there are people who care, even if they can’t be present.
But I can’t do this alone. I need your help. All donations raised will go directly to Mind, supporting the life-changing work they do for individuals in need of mental health support. Whether you can offer a financial contribution, help spread the word, or provide practical support, every bit of help counts.
I’m also seeking assistance in the form of gear, such as waterproof clothing and shoes, and any promotion or media support that can help raise awareness for the cause. If you or someone you know might be able to assist, please get in touch.
Your support could make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health. Please consider donating, sharing this message, or offering whatever help you can.
Thank you for standing with me—and with everyone battling mental health challenges—this holiday season.
With gratitude,
Ray
