Story
Holly Needham Simpson our daughter, grand-daughter would have had significant disabilities requiring complex care needs after suffering a hypoxic brain injury during birth. Very sadly Holly died after a couple of days.
Our life would have been so different in so many ways in the support and help we would have required.
This is why we want to run the London marathon both for Holly’s memory, but more importantly to raise awareness and essential funding for the Sense charity.
Sense helps people with deaf-blindness or complex disabilities to communicate, and experience the world fulfilling their full potential.
Sense experts offer personalised support through their centres, holidays and short breaks, or in people’s own homes. They are there for everyone who needs them, for as long as they need them – providing early intervention for children, helping young people access education, and supporting the transition into adulthood and beyond.
Please be as generous as you can and help support Sense and team Holly run the London marathon 2024.
Thank you.
