Family Action is the UK’s leading family charity, working with over 60,000 children and families every year. The tackle some of the most complex and difficult issues facing families today - including financial crisis, mental health problems and young carers.

I will be taking part in the NewDay Peak Challenge in aid of Family Action in July. I will be completing the 25km hike & 600m elevation route. The route will be within the Peak District and around Bakewell.

It's been a wee while since I've done a proper hike but I will be looking to get myself back to peak (geddit??) performance by then.

My goal is to raise £250 ( £10 per km) but of course I would love to smash that and I've set a personal challenge to complete this in under 5 hours. I will be looking to link up Strava or similar to track and log this.
