Ravers 2 Runners & Greenpeace ‘From Tent To 5k’ Glastonbury Fun Run - Thursday 10am @ Glastonbury Festival on the Greenpeace Field.

What better way to explore the fields of Avalon than a fun run around the festival raising awareness and money for Greenpeace!

Local running club ‘Ravers 2 Runners’ (made up primarily of music event and hospitality professionals) are inviting festival goers who love their regular runs to join them at the beginning of the festival weekend. So grab your trainers, put on an official bib and be part of history!

The run will start with a group warm up in the stunning Greenpeace field then will head off around the perimeter taking in all the main areas of Glastonbury Festival. (Greenpeace also have the best hot showers that will be open for a welcome wind down at the end).

Stopping for some photo opportunities along the route, what better way to raise the energy levels whilst meeting plenty of like minded festival fans who enjoy the balance between raving and running.

The course will be approximately 5km and all abilities are welcome. Places will be limited so sign up online and join us on an energetic adventure from ’tent to 5k’.

We want to make this event as accessible as possible. There is no joining fee but if you'd like to take part and please donate to this page - you will be donating to Greenpeace UK. Like wise if someone wants to sponsor you they also can! Your gift will be much appreciated and will go towards Greenpeace Campaigns to fighting climate change, the destruction of nature, and our campaign work to keep fossil fuels in the ground. We will close the application to enter after 200 runners have registered to take part. Greenpeace reserve the right to exert full decision making powers and any decision we make is final. Greenpeace UK can use your name publically on places like our website and social media in connection with the race, now and in perpetuity. You will need a Glastonbury ticket and full entry to the festival to take part in the race. You attend Glastonbury Festival at your own risk and Greenpeace does not accept any liability for you or for your guest’s expenses, personal injury, damage, theft, or loss in connection with the competition.
