Story
I'm going to do my bit.
Can you help me do it?
On 21st November, I will be driving a pick-up truck from London to the Ukrainian border as part of a convoy delivering vehicles and humanitarian and medical supplies to the people of Ukraine.
It costs £7,500 to purchase a pick-up, sort it, and fill it with supplies. So I'm raising it here.
You don't have to donate money. What's really needed are tools to fix vehicles and crutches to help those injured get back on their feet: quite literally. Do you have some old welding gear? Hydraulic cutting tools? A wheelchair that the NHS doesn't want back? Even worn out can be helpful. Ukrainians are incredibly resourceful. Once this war ends, we're all going to be so blessed with their outstanding practical genius.
These vehicles play a crucial role in distributing practical tools to liberated areas, evacuating civilians from conflict zones, and transporting heroes into battle. Yes, heroes. I've met some of them. Humble, quiet men. I'm not one of those. I'm no hero and I'm not running towards the whistle of death.
I'm a CTO. I fix companies. But in this war, my skills were useless. Until now. I can drive across Europe. It's no big thing. But it's something.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
