Hey!

This summer, the three of us (Andy, Callum and Ran) are cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats. Depending on how many times we get lost and/or detour to a pub, that will be over 1,000 miles in two weeks.

We have talked about doing this since cycling together through the empty London streets during Covid. But we are not just cycling for the fun of it - we are pedalling with purpose.

Dementia is cruel illness that has affected many of us, so we are raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. They are working to revolutionise the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

If nothing changes, one in two of us will be directly affected by dementia – ether by developing the condition ourselves, caring for someone with it, or both. As the UK’s leading dementia research charity, they are determined to stop this from becoming a reality.
