In May 2022 I was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Throughout my diagnosis and continuing treatment Friends of ANCHOR have been there for me and my family - from Lynn on the Ward who helped me shave my head when I lost my hair, Lisa who visited me and brought me my inpatient care box and the tv and PlayStation that Friends of ANCHOR provided for ward stays, to Issy and all the Outpatient welcome teams who made me feel part of the family, to Kay the wonderful podiatrist who helped me with my feet, Colleen the massage therapist and Christine the Day Ward assistant who always looked after me and Mum - thank you doesn’t even scratch the surface.
