My partner Stephanie and I like to run and hike as much as possible. The St. James Way from Kreuzlingen to Geneva in particular has awakened our desire to cover long distances.

Soon we will embark on a long-distance trek over several months. We'll cover approx.1,600 km, walking from Seegräben via Basel, Dijon, Paris, Rouen to Dieppe and onwards in England via Swanage, Dartmoor, Plymouth to Perranporth.

As well as taking on this long-standing ambition of ours - we want to raise as much awareness and money as possible, to help support families with children with life-limiting conditions. We are raising money for both Switzerland's first children's hospice; Flamingo Children's Hospice and while on British soil we will raise money for Children's Hospice South West in the U.K.

Children's Hospice South West help and support children and their families who are living with life-limiting conditions. They provide a loving and caring place for the whole family. A place where everyone can find expert care and support in facing an uncertain future.
