Story

We are raising money for Daft as a brush which is a charity which specialises in transporting Cancer patients to and from hospitals in a safe and comfortable environment. If required the charity worker/companion stays with the patient during the treatment. The charity has over 400 volunteers and completes about 60,000 journeys every year.

About the charity

Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care, provides a free transport service to and from the Freeman/RVI Hospitals for outpatients undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy treatment – some from as far afield as the Scottish Borders, North Yorkshire and West Cumbria.
