Story

Back in 2021 my 13 months old boy was diagnosed with diabetes type 1. After very difficult 24h, where his life was at serious risk, he started his slow recovery. After five days at the hospital we were finally on our way back home but little we knew how serious this autoimmune condition is.

It completely changed our lives and like any other person with Type 1 we are hoping that the cure is around the corner

I'm taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon for JDRF! My fundraising will provide vital funds for type 1 diabetes research, which will help to improve the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes - and one day eradicate the condition for good.

I recently learned that some of my colleagues also suffer from type 1 diabetes as well as other diabetes related conditions.

I have been training hard, most weeks 4-5 times. I only missed two sessions since January due to travel and medical reasons.

Please help me to raise funds and help those effected.
