Story
An all female team will be heading out to Egypt to source, pack and load trucks with primarily - not exclusive to - sanitary items.
Approximately 9000 women have tragically been killed by Israeli forces in the last 5 months but those that haven’t are bearing a disproportionate burden of this one-sided aggression.
Aside from the obvious grief, lack of shelter and extreme hunger women have the added burden of ‘period poverty’. A lack of water, toilet paper, soap and sanitary items poses tremendous health risks and is an issue that is often overlooked in such times.
In the war-torn streets of Rafah, women are facing unimaginable challenges. Forced to cut pieces of their shelters for makeshift pads, they endure unspeakable hardships. We cannot stand idly by.
With over a million displaced, Rafah is overwhelmed. ISRA-UK, a beacon of hope, is mobilizing an all-female team to Egypt during Ramadan. Our mission? To pack vital hygiene kits for Gaza’s women and children.
Imagine the impact of a simple period pad, a hygiene essential often taken for granted. With your support, we will send pallets of emergency packs, delivering dignity and health to those in need.
This is more than aid; it's solidarity in action. Every donation authorised by Palestine's Ministry of Social Affairs fuels our convoy's journey.
