World Vision believes that by working together with children, their communities, and our supporters and partners, the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children can be transformed. As a Christian organisation, we aspire to reflect God’s unconditional love in all we do.

Story

Rohini is ten years old and lives in Nepal. She is one of several children that we have sponsored through World Vision over the past 15 years. In her community, children are particularly at risk of child labour, child marriage and malnutrition. Thanks to the work that World Vision is doing, children will have the opportunity to learn about their rights and the rest of the community will be trained on how to protect children from issues such as child marriage and child labour. The poorest families will receive training to start their own businesses so they can provide for their children and farmers taught techniques to help them grow more nutritious food for their families.

World Vision wants no child to live in fear. Food, water and an education, this is what World Vision want to bring to the poorest children in the world, and their families.

The work World Vision do isn't cheap. Giving a village of people (as an example) access to clean water, the ability to farm to provide for themselves, dry and warm housing and clothing, and a school with teachers is NOT a cheap thing! But shouldn't everyone have that? And they have done this so far for over 200 million children in almost 100 countries across the world.

We want to raise a bit of money for them to carry on doing this amazing work. We're aiming to raise at least £1,000 so they can keep doing what they do.

It's not an easy read and it's awful to think about what some children go through, but please, if you can, take a look at what World Vision do and donate to this cause.
