Story
My 13 year old son was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in December 2022. It's been a very tough time for Jay and for the whole family. He's been incredibly brave and we're so proud of how he's dealing with his disease. We wouldn't wish crohns or colitis on anyone therefore we'd like to raise money for bowel disease research, so more children can be helped and maybe a cure can be found rather than living a life time with disease.
Please give what you can to help children with Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis and IBDU, collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
Children CICRA with IBD have a very unpleasant lifelong condition, requiring specialist care throughout childhood which does not have the high profile of other conditions such as cancer or cystic fibrosis. It is common for children with IBD to hide their condition from their friends due to embarrassment. Support for children and families in this often lonely position is vital to their wellbeing. CICRA offer support for families and funds vital research. Please give what you can.
