Story
Back in August 2024 after a few months of sporadic sickness and a week of slightly blurred vision, our 10 year old daughter, Ivy was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After being rushed to Addenbrooks, where the treatment and care was the best we could have ever hoped for, she had the tumour removed which was a grade 1 Pilocytic Astrocytoma.
We were very fortunate that the incredible surgeons could fully remove the tumour, giving ivy the best possible chance of recovery that we could have wished for and we now just remain hopeful that future check ups remain positive.
We are aware that this sadly isn’t the case for everyone and we have experienced as a family just how devastating and life changing this diagnosis really is.
Ivy, Scarlett (Ivy’s older sister) and myself want to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity so will be walking 6 miles in March for the London Twilight Walk.
I love walking, but not sure the girls will feel the same 😂
Any small donation would be amazing. 🤩
