Story
On the 16th September 2023, Brian’s cousin Jamie sadly lost his incredibly brave 10 month battle with bowel cancer leaving a huge hole in all of our lives.
Brian, Calum and Rachel are getting together with members of Jamie’s family remember him one year on in Edinburgh, on the15th September 2024 and taking part in the Kilt Walk! Jamie was hugely proud of his Scottish roots so this seemed a perfect way to pay tribute whilst continuing to campaign about awareness of this cruel disease and raise some more vital funds for the charity.
A few of us will be doing the Big Stroll which is 11 miles and then the two youngest members of the team, Ollie and Calum (both will be just 8!) will be doing the 'wee wander' which is 5 miles, along with Jamie's cousin, Calum's dad, Brian.
Bowel Cancer Uk is Britain’s leading bowel cancer charity.
They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
If you can, please help us to support this fantastic charity. Thank you.
