Story
Eczema is an often misunderstood condition! A child with severe eczema can spend hours daily treating their rough, inflamed skin, and still face unbearable itching, uncomfortable flare-ups, and even hospitalisations for infections. Sleepless nights and days unable to concentrate are all part of life for a family dealing with eczema. Some children even face bullying due to their skin. Not only does eczema affect children but it also affects families too.
I will be taking part in the Move 5 fundraiser by walking 5km with Harry every day from 1st October to 10th October to raise money for EOS. Since my little boy was diagnosed with Eczema earlier this year they have supported us more than I ever imagined. Not only have they helped Harry with his skin & provided us with resources to allow him to sleep without scratching, they have also helped me by supporting me on days when no one else understood. They have taught me so much about eczema and made me so much more confident in treating Harry and also given me knowledge to provide advice to other moms in a similar situation.
EOS provides help and support. It is a place to turn to when it all becomes overwhelming. Please donate to my fundraiser and help a child affected by eczema.
