Three Peaks Challenge, 9 September 2023
We are a 13 SARSAS employees who are going to climb the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours. We are doing this on Saturday 9th September 2023 to raise money for people whose lives have been affected by sexual violence.

Story

I'll be completing the National Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday with 13 wonderful women and colleagues from SARSAS. We are climbing up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdonia… in just 24 hours!

SARSAS is an organisation that supports people who have experienced rape or sexual abuse. It's a topic that's personal to me and so I hope to raise awareness of the difficult and often tumultuous journey that victim-survivors take toward healing.

Our uphill mountain climbs across the nation have parallels to the uncomfortable, overwhelming, and often exhausting process of coping and healing from trauma. It is not always linear, and it may often feel like we want to give up altogether. But with support, there is hope and so in completing the Three Peaks Challenge, I hope to raise money for SARSAS so that we can continue to run our amazing services and support our wider community.
