Rachel's fundraiser for Maggie's Centres

Maggie's Yorkshire Mutt Strutt 2024 · 1 April 2024 to 30 April 2024 ·
Update - Thank you so much for supporting Maggies via Sirius and my Mutt Strutts this April. We have loved walking around in our branded clothes and breathing in the Yorkshire countryside and know the money you’ve kindly given will make a big difference to others, Maggies staff and building and ethos really help! . 3rd May and I have officially finished my hospital treatment and so the only way is up!! I’ve added a few new photos 😁 🐶
April marks both the two year anniversary of starting my cancer journey but also the end of my treatment at St James Hospital- Yay! I’m so grateful for all the help I’ve had from the hospital staff and the amazing staff and volunteers at Maggies. I first went to Maggies as I was full of questions and fears and shock, I leave feeling grateful, optimistic and supported. It was been such a source of comfort and peace for me over the last two years. For the days when I needed active counselling to the last year where it’s been a great place for a chat and a cuppa. It’s time to give back! I’ve included some photos of my cancer journey as Maggies and elsewhere, the first time I stepped through the door Kevin McCloud was there filming which was pretty cool. There’s a photo of Charlotte at a family afternoon tea we went to. The photo at the end is the part of the journey that most people didn’t see, most days weren’t like that but some days are. Thank you to all my wonderful family and friends who have helped me so much over the last two year and also thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
