Story
Hi everyone!
I am so excited to be running in the New York City Marathon on November 3rd, and I am honored to be raising funds for the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), an official partner of the race. This will be my third marathon, after surviving (I mean, running) the Chicago Marathon in 2022 and the Big Sur Marathon in 2023 and I need your help!
HSS is a world-renowned institution dedicated to providing exceptional care and advancing research in orthopedics and rheumatology. Their work has a profound impact on countless lives, and I am proud to support their mission. I’m hoping you’ll help me get through 26.2 miles without needing their services myself.
I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping me reach my fundraising goal. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of those who rely on HSS.
To donate, please use this site or contact me directly for more information. Your generosity will not only motivate me as I train and run the marathon but also support the vital work of HSS.
Thank you for considering this request. Together, we can make a difference!
Warm regards,
Rachel Markell
HSS is proud to be an official charity partner for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon taking place on Sunday, November 3. We have an incredible group of runners on Team HSS this year, training and fundraising for HSS. The funds raised through this effort will ensure HSS can continue to provide world-class musculoskeletal care and help patients get back to what they need and love to do better than any other place in the world.
If you have any questions about making a gift or about Team HSS, please contact Megan Stahlberg (917) 260-3140 or stahlbergm@hss.edu.
