Story
Unfortunately, Sue/mum became suddenly unwell at the end of November and not long after many tests we received the heartbreaking news of her diagnosis of cancer. This is the news that no family wants to receive and it hit us all pretty hard but we all tried our best to be strong and positive for Sue/mum. Devastatingly, in April she became too poorly and the battle became too much that she was transferred from hospital to become a patient at the hospice. Tragically, after only being a patient for a short time she fell asleep peacefully for the last time at Severn Hospice in Shrewsbury. This is why we chose this charity to raise funds for as it is close to our heart. Even though it will be myself actually running London Marathon, I will be running on behalf of Rhianne, Scott, Billy, Luke, Chris and all the Grandchildren, whom will all be part of my fundraising and training journey.
If you can spare any amount and make any donation then it will be greatly appreciated to help other families receive the care and support they need, as all the care the hospice provides is free.
Thank you for reading and the support x
