We provide emergency medical care worldwide to people affected by conflict & disasters.

Story

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. Providing emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

MSF work in over 70 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go on the front line of lobal crisis.

I had first heard of MSF in year 8 Geography, we were learning about humanitarian responses to natural disasters and had to write a small paragraph and provide an example, where I looked at the socioeconomic impacts in Haiti caused by the 2010 Earthquake where MSF worked to reverse these effects, recently completing the construction of a new hospital in Port-au-Prince.

Shortly after, I discovered that MSF was actually far closer to my family than I had thought, with close family members actually working for MSF in the past, I thought it was only right that I did my bit to help the charity, even if i'll never be able to physically assist in the field.

Please give as generously as you can for this literally lifesaving cause!
