Event: Bolingbroke PA London Bridges Challenge Walk, on 24 March 2024
This year the Bolingbroke Community is going all out to raise the funds to re-build the Butterfly Garden and increase our outdoor space by 30%! We will use this as a quiet space outdoors, increasing well-being and inclusion for pupils and staff.

Story

On Sunday 24th March Hamish, Ferdi, Rachel and Xavier will do the 15k London Bridges walk to raise funds to re-build the Bolingbroke School Butterfly Garden and increase our outdoor space by 30%!

The walk starts from Bermondsey and crosses 12 bridges before ending at Battersea Power Station. Do join!

Details of the Butterfly Garden:

We will use the space as a quiet area for break times, outdoor lessons, social events, music and drama performances. As an inner city school with very limited outdoor space, this will make a huge difference to our pupils and staff every day, increasing well-being and inclusion.

To do this we need to raise a massive £70,000!

Thanks to the brilliant support of parents, school staff and local businesses we are well over half way to this target. The London Bridges Challenge walk is a really important event as we push to get to the total we need to build phase 1 of the garden this summer!

Thank you for your support and I can't wait to tell you about our Challenge Walk!
