At the end of last year, my beautiful friend Lisa took her journey into the next plane surrounded by love, warmth and the knowledge that her spirit would always be kept close and present by us all.

I'm sure she never thought that would mean me shaving all my hair off for charity, but she knows this is on brand for me.

On May 19th I will be shaving my head for 21&Co, a wonderful charity that offer help and support to children with Down's syndrome and their families in South West London, Surrey and surrounding areas.

21&Co is a charity very close to Lisa's heart, and I would love people to donate whatever they can in her name. I hope it can be an extension of all the brilliant things she has done and will continue to inspire in us who she impacted so greatly.

Lisa was outrageously funny, up for anything and would welcome you into her house with the kettle already boiling and biccies at the ready. She loved a drink and having one (or five) with her would normally lead to various forms of mischief.

It would be lovely if people could take a minute this week, maybe when having a pint or making a cuppa, to send her a little thought. Tell her a funny story from the week, something you're proud of recently (she was a proper Jewish mother - I promise you she'll kvell for you), or just send a good vibration her way.
