Story

Having recently joined Kingston Carers Network (KCN) as their new CEO I'm committed to walking the talk – or should I say running the run – when it comes to fundraising. On 24 November I’ll therefore be embarking on my first 10k at Hampton Court Palace.

Most of us at some point in our lives will take up caring responsibilities for a loved one. If you have been there, are there right now, or know someone who is, you will appreciate the emotional, physical and financial toll that caring can have.

KCN exists to provide information, advice and support to all unpaid carers across the Borough. But we desperately need more funds to maintain our Young Carers Project, which provides a critical lifeline to young carers by enabling them to feel less isolated and take a break from their caring duties.

A donation to KCN would enable us to continue our regular drop-ins and youth clubs across the borough, as well as contribute to the much needed respite activities hosted throughout the school holidays.

Thank you in advance for your support.
