Story
We are challenging ourselves to complete 31 minutes of an exercise (of our choosing) every day throughout May for Stroke Association. 💜
🔸 2 years ago after suffering a stroke at 52 Rachael was learning to adjust to life after a stroke which left her unable to walk and weak down one side. It takes time to rebuild strength and can have life changing affects and be very frustrating but with a lot of determination and hard work Rachael is doing amazing and should be very proud of how far she has come (her family definitely is) she is getting stronger and stronger every day and this challenge will support that and also raise awareness and valuable funds to support others. 🫶🏼
31 Minutes of exercise in May is a fun way for us all to keep active and raise vital funds to help rebuild lives after stroke.
Your fundraising can help in incredible ways:
• £50 could help us fund research to find new ways to help stroke survivors with communication difficulties. 💻🗣️
• £150 could help pay for research into new stroke treatments, such as thrombolysis, a clot-busting drug that returns the blood supply to the brain that has transformed the outcomes of stroke survivors who have received it. 🧪💊💉
• £250 could pay for one hour of Helpline activity, helping the families of stroke survivors support their loved ones after stroke. ☎️🫂
Please donate, share if you can and come along and join in with one of our walks, swims or bike rides.
Love Gem & Rach 💜
