I'm taking part in the Hackney Half Marathon on the 19th of May 2024 with some pals from work to raise money for the Trussell Trust.

Some info about the Trussell Trust and the event!

The team at The Fitzrovia is fundraising for Kier's charity partner, the Trussell Trust, by swapping our site boots and/or Excel spreadsheets for our running shoes to run 13.1 miles around Hackney 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ (this works out as 120 laps of The Fitzrovia site!!).

The partnership was chosen by Kier people in July 2023 and supports the Trussell Trust's core initiative of providing emergency food and support to people locked in poverty.

The Trussell Trust distributed 1.5 million food parcels to adults and children facing hardship between April and September 2023. This increase of 16% compared to the same period in 2022 highlights the continued need to support their valuable work.
