Story
Thank you for visiting my page.
Last January my family’s world changed, we were devastated by the news that my Dad had spindle cell sarcoma in his leg. This has had a massive impact on him and ended up with considerable muscle loss in his leg. We thought things were getting back to normal but now we are back at square one with more tests as the cancer may have returned.
Spindle cell sarcoma is a rare bone cancer that most often affects the long bones in your arms and legs however it can present in lungs and other body parts.
Because of the impact sarcoma has on families and those going through treatment I am raising money by doing a knit/crotchetathon on 27th July for 12 hours starting at 9am!
Please help me by supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
All the blankets and items we make will be donated to the hospital who are looking after my dad.
Thank you for your support.
