We are raising money to support UNICEF's Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal.
We have both been very proud owners of our Peloton’s for around a year now. We intend to cycle the distance from our respective homes to the Arc De Triomphe, Paris, over the month of May. This challenge will involve Rach cycling 375 miles, and Hayley 390. To fit this in around each being a Mum and Doctor is going to be a significant challenge not least because of the time commitment for both of us. But it will be so very much less challenging than what mum’s in Gaza are facing right now to be able to provide for their children. No child should experience fear, violence or hunger. Please help us raise some money to help these children who are so very much in need.
Hundreds of thousands of children are affected by the violent conflict in Gaza and Israel. An unrelenting bombardment of Gaza followed the brutal attacks in Israel on 7 October. Violence is taking a terrible toll on the lives of children and families.
Supply routes into Gaza have been severely impacted. Children and families are running out of food, water, electricity, and medicine. Homes and critical infrastructure lie in ruin.
Despite the dangerous security situation, UNICEF continues to deliver life-saving supplies, including medicines and clean water, as well as mental health support.
With supplies and living conditions rapidly declining, UNICEF needs our help to reach more children and families.
Please donate what you can. Thank you.
