In 2006 my mother was diagnosed with liver cancer, she battled many months of not telling the family & friends (always protective) and eventually broke her silence. Despite many months of chemotherapy and amazing care at Hammersmith hospital, our families life changed on 14th August 2008! Losing her is one of the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with and to this day I remember the events of that day quite vividly. In the last few days of her life, the staff at the Princess Alice were simply incredible, allowing many visitors through their doors (I’ve a large Indian family) and providing the quality of care my mother & father always spoke so highly of at The Princess Alice.
