Story
After watching ex-Scotland captain Rob Wainwright and his team take on several monumental cycling challenges over the last few years in aid of The My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, we have decided it's time to throw ourselves into the deep end and sign up for his latest crazy adventure!
So, we've pulled together a relay team and support crew to take on Doddie'5 Grand Tour. Setting off from Stranraer in the South West we will cover a route of around 700 miles throughout Scotland in just 4 days. The ride will culminate in a celebration in Edinburgh on Saturday 8th February, ahead of Scotland taking on Ireland at Murrayfield on the 9th.
Having never taken on a challenge like this before, we will be a LONG way out of our comfort zone, but we're doing it to help in the fight against Motor Neuron Disease. Several of our team have witnessed first hand the brutality of MND and the speed at which it takes hold. There is no cure for MND, nor any effective treatment, and average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 18 months. This has to change!
Your support is massively appreciated and means so much to us.
Thank you,
Doddie'5 Puggled Pedallers
