I am deeply proud once again to participate in McCormick Care Foundation’s annual "Light Up McCormick!" campaign.

My Rec & Leisure second year students are joining forces with the amazing staff at McCormick to bring joy to clients, residents, and families living with dementia, while raising essential funds to support long-term and dementia care education.

But we can’t do it alone—we need your help!

The students are learning the value of giving back, which is why they are aiming to raise $10,000 (wahoo!) to light the tallest tree on the gorgeous McCormick grounds.

Every donation helps us get closer, but the impact extends far beyond the lights.

Your contribution supports the Learning and Development Centre at McCormick Care Group, home to Ontario’s first Long-Term Care simulation lab, where current and future healthcare professionals are trained to meet the growing demand for dementia and long-term care.
