Our latest fundraising challenge The 24/7 took place on Sunday 2 July with 40 pupils and 7 staff. Fastest time 7 hours 49 minutes. The final walkers came in blistered but undefeated after 9 hours 36 minutes. Total distance covered by all walkers 948.3 miles.

Thank you for your support and helping us honour our longstanding commitment to providing a daily meal in school to Makalanga BT2, a primary school of around 600 pupils near Blantyre, the capital of Malawi.

Princethorpe College is now in its 16th year of fundraising for Mary's Meals. 93p in the £1 goes directly to its charitable activities and it costs less than £20 to feed a child for an entire year - so whatever is donated here will make a difference.

We already completed one major challenge - On Sunday 2 April, a team of pupils and staff took part in the Coventry Way Challenge, a circular 40 mile route. It was a long, long day and soaking wet boots and serious blisters did not make it any easier! Between us we walked 388 miles - that's from a team of 7 pupils, two staff, one Old Princethorpian and three additional staff walking a stretch of the way in support.
