London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Visham, and his friend Previn are running the London Marathon in memory of Visham's daughter, Alisha.
Alisha was diagnosed in February 2021 with a high/mix grade Glioma (Brain Tumour). She was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. But, she sadly passed away on the 27th September 2022.
Visham and Previn aim to raise as much money as possible to support Shooting Star Children's Hospices, where Alisha was cared for.
The whole team completed the marathon with incredible support from family, friends and the charity cheer squad!
It was hot 🥵 but London came out in force to power us to the finish!
We all had our ‘why’s?’ In mind to help us through hard parts. Our emotions ran high with a re-newed faith in the power of positivity 💥
My highlights were seeing my family and friends at Tower Bridge alongside the event randomly playing our wedding song as I crossed the line! 🩵🩷
Please continue to donate, as we rest our legs and express our gratitude for everyone that helped get us across the line (friends, family, training partners alongside the amazing Londoners lining the streets!)
We have collected our bibs, downloaded the app and are as ready as we'll ever be! You can track our progress on the day via the TCS London Marathon App...I'm sure any more sponsorship will make us run faster!
Thank You!!

Previn - 23181
We have now have our personalised race tops for the big day. I'm sure this will help in difficult times along the course, especially at the end! The Shooting Star Hospice team and fellow charity runners have been amazing supporting the runners - Thank You!
All of this time, effort and energy is to raise money for the Hospice at St Christophers. This facility is vital for families, like Alisha's, going through the most challenging times and every penny donated helps that cause - Please continue to give generously.
Cranleigh 21mile race - completed! More miles in the legs in readiness for tapering down soon for the London Marathon on the Sunday 27th April 2025 :) 80% of the costs of running the Hospice come from donations, so please give a little to help keep this amazing service running to its full potential..THANK YOU:)
The Shooting Stars marathon team met for the Surrey Half this morning as part of The London Marathon training. It was a superb event and lots of our charity runner came to race, all supported by the amazing Shooting Stars Events Team!
But we have to remember what this is all for. 80% of all the costs of running the Hospice come from charitable donations…so please share far and wide, as without donations, this excellent facility simply would not be able to operate🙏
The team met to race 20miles in the sunshine 🌞 in training for the marathon. Sore legs and smiles this afternoon..:)
Please keep donating as we are getting closer to our collective goal 🙏🏾🤘
We learnt about the essential work that is done with families and saw the care provided to the young people. It was a real privilege to see.
The simple fact is that 70% of the funding for this vital resource comes from donations. Please do give generously as it really will make a huge difference .. Thank you 🙏🏾
