Story
Olympic Games themed relay challenge!
As we count down to the big event in 2024, we will be completing our very own cross-country relay, taking a torch from Lancaster to Manchester, as part of Allianz's Path to Paris employee engagement and fundraising campaign.
Participants from Premierline and the Allianz Small Business team will be making the 55 mile journey in one day, by walking, cycling and running the distance, all to raise money for our local Mind charity.
As well as the relay, our teams will be completing other Olympic Games themed fundraising events across the next 6 months for Lancashire Mind. These include:
- Great North run - Half marathon (Jazz Banger)
- Chilli eating competition!
- Plus many more...!
Please sponsor us and donate to this worthwhile charity and leave us a kind message of support... we'll need it! :)

Why's it important:
Lancashire Mind are leading a wellbeing revolution to get people talking about mental health. At any one time, 1 in 4 people experience poor mental health. This has increased exponentially since the Covid pandemic and most recent cost of living crisis. Mind offer specialist services to provide coping strategies and counselling for those that need it most, but also proactively work with schools and workplaces to improve mental health, to ensure we all can maintain a healthy mental balance.
