Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for the charity "Heart Link," which has recently become very important to us. Heart Link is an organization dedicated to supporting families affected by heart conditions in the East Midlands, an organization we had no knowledge of until three weeks ago.In the UK, a child is born with a heart condition every two hours. Heart Link focuses on assisting families in the East Midlands facing this challenge.Our personal connection to this cause became evident when, just over a week after her birth on September 24th, our precious newborn underwent an Ecko Cardio Gram to examine her heart. Despite exhausting all other options, her oxygen saturation levels remained low. She was swiftly diagnosed with a rare heart condition called TAPVC, accounting for only 1% of all heart defects.On September 25th, only a day after her diagnosis and before we had even named her properly, Baby Girl Master underwent open heart surgery.We were provided with accommodation close to her bedsides which allowed us to help heal her together.Baby Girl Master, Now named Ariana Pari came home with us on Monday 2nd October and we feel very blessed to have had the support of such a selfless organisation.Heart Link's invaluable support for accommodations within and near Leicester Infirmary Hospital for families to stay together, providing medical equipment on the ward including pioneering Cardiac equipment wothout which some patients would not be here today.
