The Community Foundation for Merseyside, in partnership with Sefton Council and Sefton CVS, has activated an urgent fundraising appeal for all those affected by the knife attack in Southport on 29 July 2024.

Story

In the wake of last week's tragic incident in Southport, our thoughts remain with all those who have been affected. Supporting our community in times of need is important to us, and we would like to launch a special fundraiser raffle for the ‘Southport Strong Together’ appeal.

The Southport Strong Together Appeal is helping to provide support to the local community and individuals directly affected by last Monday’s incident, partnering with Sefton Council and Sefton CVS to deliver community cohesion and violence prevention initiatives.

We are participating in the 'Peel Ports Group Fundraiser', a personal challenge event scheduled for August 21, 2024. Our goal is to raise £1,000 for the 'Southport Strong Together Appeal' to contribute towards the vital support and initiatives it provides.

Your generous contribution will make a meaningful difference in rebuilding and supporting our community. Join us in standing 'Southport Strong Together' and help create a brighter future for all.
