Story
From our inception in the mid-1970's, Pollard Thomas Edwards has designed and delivered homes for a wide variety of residents - from council tenants and those on moderate incomes, through to those fortunate enough to have private homes.
Our philosophy has always been that good quality housing for all is the foundation of positive mental and physical wellbeing in our communities.
However, over recent years we have witnessed housing provision falling well below the population growth, dramatically increasing the cost of owning or renting a home. Often referred to as the housing crisis.
The real crisis though, is the corresponding decline of social rented homes and a lack of access to decent housing for low income households. The combination of low supply and increasing inequality has pushed unprecedented numbers of vulnerable people into homelessness.
In our 50th year, we return to our philosophy of a decent home for all, and want to contribute to ending homelessness. We are supporting Crisis - a national charity for people experiencing homelessness, and their campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.
We hope that you can join us in this cause.
