Due to the pandemic, our residents at Platters Farm Lodge have not been able to enjoy a full Christmas of celebrations, activities and parties.

On 15th November 2023 09:00 - 09:00 our home Manager , Jo along with Gerry, Hotel Services, and Claire, Activities Coordinator have decided to take on the challenge of a 24 hour activity challenge, Jo will be singing and providing the music, while Gerry completes her 24 hour dance challenge and Claire is doing an exercises bike challenge where she will complete the 24 hours on the exercise bike. Short comfort breaks and costume changes included. Other members of staff will be filling in the gaps allowing the challenge to continue for the full 24 hour period.

The money raised form this will be paying for all of our Christmas festivities and all proceeds will go to Platters Farm Lodge residents.

Our aim is to raise £500, this will allow us to give our Residents a fantastic Christmas and one to remember! HO HO HO

Hello everyone, we have now reached target but we have decided to up the amount now to £750 as we are doing so well with this just giving page.

The more we raise the more the residents can have a fantastic Christmas party and we can even manage to get them all a-little gift, as the kind donations keep coming from you lovely people.
