Hi folks,

I'm running the half marathon in Belfast this year in order to (hopefully) help raise some money to support UNICEF's Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal.

What's happening in Gaza right now is appalling. Hundreds of thousands of innocent children are affected by the violence currently being inflicted upon the region.

Every day that this violence continues, untold numbers of children are being killed, families torn apart. The future of an entire generation of Palestinians is at stake.

Supply routes into Gaza have been severely, and purposefully, impacted. The region has long since run out of food, water, electricity, and medicine. Homes and critical infrastructure have been left in ruins.

Despite the dangerous security situation, UNICEF continues to deliver life-saving supplies, including medicines and clean water, as well as mental health support. With supplies and living conditions rapidly declining, UNICEF needs our help to reach more children and families.
