Technology has opened up a world of fun but sadly, many individuals with disabilities are unable to fully participate. That’s why we're taking part in four events throughout 2025, in support of SpecialEffect’s mission to level the playing field for everyone:

💙 13.1 miles of running for the Bath Half Marathon, on 16 March (COMPLETE) 💙 24-hours of streaming for GameBlast25, from 26 to 27 April (COMPLETE) 💙 13.1 miles of running for the Bacchus Wine Half Marathon 💙 1,084 miles of movement for the Length of the UK Virtual Challenge, completing on 31 December 💙

SpecialEffect empowers people with severe disabilities, enabling them to use technology for communication and leisure by adapting it to their individual needs. This can have a huge impact on mental wellbeing and self-esteem.
