Story
On July 1st, I’ll be going live on Twitch for a special charity stream to raise awareness and funds for Sarcoma UK, marking the start of Sarcoma Awareness Month.
This cause is deeply personal to me.
My younger sister is currently battling a rare and aggressive cancer called Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma (MCS). It’s an ultra-rare subtype of sarcoma that most people have never heard of—until it affects someone they love.
🧬 What is Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma (MCS)?
MCS is a rare form of soft tissue and bone cancer. Unlike more common chondrosarcomas, MCS grows quickly and is often diagnosed late, making treatment more challenging. It mostly affects young people and can appear in unexpected areas like the spine, brain, or ribs.
Despite its severity, very little is known about MCS, and funding for research is limited. That’s why supporting Sarcoma UK is so vital—they fund essential research, provide guidance to families, and fight for better awareness of all sarcoma types.
🎮How you can help:
🎮 I’ll be streaming on Twitch (twitch.tv/thatpiratewannabe) on July 1st, with all donations going directly to Sarcoma UK.
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page helps more than you know.
Let’s fight this rare cancer together—for my sister, and for everyone affected by sarcoma.
