Elly Hoult's CIH presidential campaign is raising awareness for people CHOOSE HOUSING, as a career.

CHOOSE HOUSING is focused on raising awareness of the career opportunities the housing sector provides, promoting greater diversity in the sector and inspiring more people to pursue housing as a career of choice while encouraging more opportunities for people to join the sector.

Alongside her campaign Elly is fundraising for Barnardo's. Barnardo’s provide a lifeline for many children and young people. Their work to support children to be more hopeful centres around enabling children experiencing challenges to move into adulthood with hope and confidence, including career guidance and opportunities which resonates deeply within her campaign.

As part of the campaign Elly is asking people to join her in her abseil fundraising event on Friday 13th June, in Wandsworth, which I am excited (or maybe a little crazy) to say I have decided to join her.

I look forward to raising money for Banardo's in the lead up to this event, whilst at the same time raising awareness for the CHOOSE HOUSING campaign, that the sector so desperately needs.
