Thank you so much for supporting our hiking team and donating towards our fundraising target.

The team was formed following the huge success of the Pink Ball, held in October 2023. The Ball came about after team member Rosemary Brown successfully completed treatment for breast cancer in 2022. Rosemary was determined to do something to celebrate this massive achievement and also raise some money in the process for two cancer charities - Rosemere Cancer Foundation and Breast Cancer Now - both of which had supported her massively during her treatment.

The Ball was an enormous success and raised over £31,000 for the charities thanks to the generosity and kindness of everyone that attended. Whilst there are plans to organise future Pink Balls, it was decided that a physical challenge should be tackled this year and so the team was formed. Given that we all know someone personally who has benefitted from the fantastic support and services of Macmillan Cancer Support, it was decided that this would be our chosen charity this year.
