Story
On Saturday 13th May, 20 pilgrims will set out from Melrose in the Scottish borders, where St Cuthbert started his religious life in 650 AD.
We will be following St Cuthbert’s Way to Holy Island off the Northumberland coast, staying in churches, church halls, a youth hostel and hotels along the way.
We will walk approximately 70 miles, crossing the border between Scotland and England, arriving on Holy Island on Friday 19th May.
Our pilgrimage is happening during Christian Aid Week and we are therefore raising money to support their work. Your donations will help to support the Christian Aid pigeon pea project and other vital work around the world.
