On Saturday 8th June, I am taking part in the Midnight Walk 2024 for St Catherine's Hospice! I’ll be walking in memory of Nonna who left us 12 years ago to the day of the walk and received the most wonderful care from the angels on earth that were the St. Catherine’s Hospice workers.

Nonna wanted to be ‘home with my daughter’ and so my mum’s flat was kitted out with every piece of medical equipment and machinery she would need. The nurses visited every day, and provided her as much care and support as they did Nonna. This was possible because of St. Catherine’s Hospice.

St Catherine's Hospice cares for local people at the end of their lives in Surrey and Sussex, and supports those closest to them. Every step I take at the Midnight walk will help the hospice be there for local people and those close to them, just as they did for Nonna 12 years ago.
