Story

She’s doing it again! On 10th December Phoebe will be putting on a Santa suit and running 5k in memory of Ellie (with mummy and daddy following behind).

Naomi house is an incredible charity that has provided so much support to our family during Ellie’s last days and after right up to the present day. We were supported so well by them when preparing for and experiencing Ellie’s death, arranging her funeral and coming to terms with the most devastating thing a parent can ever experience. Phoebe regularly uses sibling support activity days ran by this incredible charity to spend time with other siblings who have lost their brother and sister and work through thoughts and emotions as she develops more and more understanding. Our yearly Santa run is our way of giving something back to a charity we’d all be lost without. Xx

Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices supporting life-limited and life-threatened children, young adults, and their families from across the central South of England.

Naomi House nursing and medical staff provide individualized care that helps to enhance short lives and allows approximately 550 families to make the most of their precious time with their children.

Jacksplace is the only hospice for young adults in the South of England. The medical and care teams offer specialist care, often over many years, and uphold the dignity and independence of young adults accessing the service.

Naomi House & Jacksplace will be there on good days, difficult days, and last days.
