Story

Good Evening all !

I currently have the honour of working as a Hosting Coordinator for the Room for Refugees programme at Positive Action in Housing (PAiH). We are a Glasgow-based anti-racist homelessness charity, made up of a small but mighty team of caseworkers offering advocacy and advice surrounding a range of housing issues imposed on refugees and people in the asylum process. Our main goal is to resist and offer an alternative to the hostile environment so cruelly enacted by the government and mainstream institutions that “greet” these communities.

Since I started the job role in June 2024, I have seen firsthand, each and every day, how much of an impact each donation and token of support has on those communities we support.

Along with my incredible colleagues, I am taking part in the 2025 Kiltwalk this year in the hopes of raising further vital and transformative funds for our charity.

At PAiH, we believe in a world where everyone deserves to live with safety and dignity, free from the clutches of poverty, homelessness, and inequality.

We invite you to join us in this mission. Your support can make a significant difference for those in urgent need of housing and assistance.

Every contribution, no matter how small, can help change lives. Thank you for considering supporting our cause.
